Gently press the new battery in its place.
Step 5: Close The Key Fob
After placing the battery, close the battery cover by pressing gently until it makes a clicking shut sound.
Seal the key fob securely to ensure its water resistance function.
Step 6: Test It
After doing all this, test your key fob to see if all your hard work paid off.
Simply check your key fob by locking and unlocking your 5 series. And, also check that the LED indicator on the key fob lights up.
