• Step 1: The first step would be to gather all the necessary parts, such as Engine oil, oil filter kit, Socket Wrench, Oil Filter Wrench, drain pan, Car Ramps or Jacks and Jack Stand, screwdriver, glasses, and gloves.
• Step 2: After wearing safety glasses & gloves, pick up the car using car ramps or jacks and jack stands.
• Step 3: Open the oil fill cap & oil filter cap slightly.
• Step 4: Now go under the vehicle and find the oil drain plug, open that with a socket wrench, and drain all the oil in a drain pan.
• Step 5: While the oil is draining, use the oil filter wrench to open the oil filter housing take out the old filter, and replace the O-rings and oil filter with a new one.
• Step 6: After replacing the oil filter put it back in its housing and close the cap.
• Step 7: Again go under the vehicle and after all the oil is drained close the drain plug.
• Step 8: Now add the recommended 5W-30 synthetic oil to your engine up to its capacity.
• Step 9: Now after a 5 minute break start your vehicle and check if oil is leaking from anywhere.
